Intended Schedule:

Day 1 - 13:00

We meet at the train station in Andermatt and distribute the gear between members. After a gentle start, the hike becomes slightly steeper as we ascend the gravel road. After approx. 4 hours we reach our chosen base camp site at 2280 m and set up everything. If the temperature allows, we can even take a plunge in a pristine alpine lake!

Don't worry if this is your first time sleeping outside: We have plenty of tips and tricks to share to make yourself comfortable!

As the sun sets we cook and enjoy a warming expedition style vegetarian dinner. We stargaze, play cards or just enjoy the silence of the mountains and prepare for sliding into our cozy sleeping bags.

Day 2 - 08:00

Early bird catches the worm!

After a tasty breakfast we unbuild the base camp and enjoy as the first sun rays warm our skin.

The views are amazing and reach all the way to canton Ticino and Graubünden!

As everyone is ready, we begin to slowly descend to reach our meeting point in Andermatt.

This should take us around 3 hours depending on breaks and participants condition.
